Leonardo or Leo, is one of the four protagonists/heroes of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise.[1] He is the leader of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He is highly skilled at Ninjutsu. In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Mirage Studios), he has a red bandanna like the rest, but in other versions, he wears a blue bandanna He has two ninjatos as his signature weapon. Leonardo was named after the Italian polymath, scientist, engineer, inventor, anatomist, and painter, Leonardo da Vinci. When he transformed into a horse, he wears a blue feather headdress that replacing his blue eye mask/bandanna and blue saddle on his back that replacing his turtle shell.
History[]
There are a lot of versions of him and his mutation with his brothers. Some are very similar, but also different. Some are that him and his brothers were baby turtles bought by a kid or by Hamato Yoshi also. In the kid's version, a rat, Splinter, saw it all. A blind man was crossing the street and a guy rescued him from a truck that was going to crash him. Then he fell on the kid and the jar fell on water to the sewer and a mutagen along with them and a rat. The rat took them to a nest and the next day, they were big and then the turtles and rat learned to talk and learned about Ninjutsu, which Splinter learned from his owner, Hamato Yoshi, and the turtles learned also and became ninjas.
